Jess Bulman - Family & Couples Systemic Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Jess, a Family and Couples Systemic Psychotherapist, accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Systemic psychotherapy can help those in close relationships to better understand, support and communicate with each other. From an empathic, non-judgmental position, I support clients to identify unhelpful patterns, and to build on their strengths and resources to develop new ways of relating.

I work with a range of adult, child, couple, and family difficulties including parenting issues, divorce/ separation, adult mental health, child and adolescent behaviour, and transitions in family life.

I am particularly experienced in helping parents to make sense of child behavioural difficulties, and how to effectively and compassionately respond to these. I also specialise in helping families where there is neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism specifically). I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples and families to feel understood and connected.

My work is informed by a commitment to anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice. I am fully professionally insured and operate within the codes of practice laid out by the professional registering bodies Association for Family Therapy (AFT) and the UKCP. Alongside my private practice, I work with children and their families in an NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
