Julia Hughes

BSc Psychology, Adv. Dip. Humanistic Integrative Counselling, MBACP
Julia Hughes - Therapist & Counsellor

My name is Julia, and I am an integrative counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling.

Being integrative means I can draw on a range of approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT tailoring our sessions to meet your needs.

I offer a warm, calm, and non-judgmental space where we can explore what has brought you to counselling and work together to make sense of it. I believe that we all have the capacity for growth and transformation, and that therapy provides a space for your authentic self to emerge.

Difficulties we experience now often have roots in the past, but therapy also focuses on what feels challenging in the here and now.

I work with a wide range of clients and experiences, including those navigating neurodivergence, helping to create a neuro-affirming environment where difference is understood, valued, and respected.
