Oliver Jarvis - Therapist & Counsellor

Whether you’re going through a serious life change, a bereavement or are struggling with an issue you would like to explore, I offer a safe, friendly and non-judgemental space in which to work through whatever is on your mind.

As an integrative therapist, I am trained and experienced in a range of therapies, specialising in the psychodynamic, existential and humanistic modalities. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all relationship and drawing on a range of techniques helps me tailor the best approach to help you move forward.

I work with individuals who have a range of difficulties which they find they need support to deal with. These issues have included (but are not restricted to): depression; substance abuse; obsessions/compulsions; gender issues; sexuality; anxiety; difficulties with intimacy; work problems; stress; recovery from abuse; self-harm; disability; autism; and relationship issues.

I offer you the opportunity to set the pace and parameters for how deep we go. I don’t use complex jargon but work instead to help you voice your concerns in your own language. Therapy is non-judgemental and confidential. I do not pathologise sexuality or transgender.

If you would like to hear more or explore what therapy may look like for you, please get in touch for a free phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
