How I work
My treatments and studies cover all aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory, with a dominant focus on the Five Element approach. I work to integrate complementary therapies with conventional medicine in order to promote health, treat illness more safely and effectively, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response.
As well as needling, I often incorporate cupping therapy and moxibustion assisting with both physical and emotional support and recovery. I have also studied auricular acupuncture, which is particularly beneficial for a number of conditions such as anxiety, sleep issues, PTSD, alcoholism and substance abuse.
Individual tailored sessions
In treatment, I help to develop greater awareness of specific lifestyle choices that can bring about imbalance. By working one-to-one with clients, approaching diet, sleep, and routine I can assist with a range of issues including relationship and fertility support, anxiety, depression, and traumatic memories through to sport or lifestyle related physical ailments that alter our physiological systems; circulation, digestive, reproductive, endocrine, and others. Each session is based on individual needs and is focused on the hidden drivers of your problems, and the route away from them.
I am a fully insured and accredited member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s largest professional body for the practice of traditional acupuncture. I am therefore bound by the Council’s Codes of Professional Practice and Safe Practice.
